Scout report
E. Unsain is a 31-year-old goalkeeper at Talleres Cordoba, rated 22.7 overall by Field Insider's model, ranking 417th of 539 on scout potential in the Liga Profesional Argentina. A seasoned veteran, he has been a rotation option this season (40.3% of available minutes). Below: strengths, watch-points, market-value outlook and the latest transfer news on Unsain.
Judged on this season alone, Unsain graded 9 — a workmanlike campaign that ranks 33rd of 43 of the 43 goalkeepers in the Liga Profesional Argentina, on 3 clean sheets across 11 appearances.
Year-on-year, that's a clear step up on last season (Season 4 → 9). Over the 7 seasons on record his form has trended upward, peaking in 2021/22.
On long-term talent our Rating reads 23, 28th of 43 of the 43 goalkeepers in the Liga Profesional Argentina. At 31 Unsain is into the veteran stage, where the age curve weighs on the projection, and a market index of 2.7 reflects that trajectory.
Past his 2021/22 peak — the recent trend is downward, so buyers are paying for what's left, not what was.
Output in context · Talleres Cordoba finished 4th of 15 · an upper-table side
3 clean sheets in 11 appearances (27% of games). Playing behind an upper-table side (4th of 15) means a more protected goal, so the read is about command and distribution as much as raw shut-outs.
Watch points
- Game time. Only 40.3% of available minutes — needs a settled run to prove the level.
- Age curve. At 31, both level and resale value are on the downslope.
- Level. Rates below a nailed-on top-tier starter on our model.
Outlook
With a Rating of 22.7, Unsain carries the 28th-highest potential of the goalkeepers in the Liga Profesional Argentina of 43 — though on just 11 appearances this season, so the standing rests on a small sample. A rotation minutes keeper carrying the gloves this season. Veteran phase — a short-term, lower-fee proposition as both level and value decline (0.9× and falling).
