Platform news & updates
What we are adding and improving, newest first. Data quality work ships continuously; the entries here are the changes you can see.
- Search
Search forgives spelling
Names with more than one common spelling now match: searching "stefan el shaarawi" finds Stephan El Shaarawy, and accented names work however you type them. Released players are labelled Free agent in search results.
- Ratings
Ratings accuracy release
A wide accuracy pass on published ratings, with corrections across several leagues and formats. Scout reports were upgraded alongside it so the written analysis always tells the same story as the numbers.
- Data
Match-by-match history back to 2020
Career pages are gaining full match logs for past seasons: every game, minutes, goals and the club each match was played for. Seasons split between two clubs finally show both spells. The backfill covers 2020 through 2024 and is completing league by league.
- Ratings
Ratings release: transfers and loans
A major update to how ratings handle players who changed clubs, including loan spells and mid-season moves. Several thousand player ratings were refreshed as part of the release.
- News
More trustworthy transfer-news statuses
Story statuses across the transfer-news section were reviewed and tightened, so what you read matches what the reporting actually supports.
- Pages
Career pages: one tab set, competitions and schedule together
Picking a season on a player's career page now switches both the competition totals and the match schedule for that season. Past seasons fill in as the match-log backfill lands.
- Data
Deeper daily data maintenance
Player availability, injuries, squads, fixtures and league calendars are now refreshed continuously, keeping pages closer to matchday reality across all covered leagues.
- Ratings
New-season ratings are live
Ratings for the 2026/27 campaigns are rolling out league by league as real minutes are played, with each player's page showing which season his current numbers are based on.
