An experienced operator, he has been a rotation option this season (39.2% of available minutes). His defensive output reads 3.22 tackles, blocks and interceptions per 90. Below: strengths, watch-points, market-value outlook and the latest transfer news on Nišić.
Judged on this season alone, Nišić graded 9 — a workmanlike campaign that ranks 28th of 30 of the 30 central midfielders in the Premier League, on 0 goals, 0 assists and 3.224 defensive actions per 90.
Year-on-year, that's a clear step up on last season (Season 0 → 5). Over the 4 seasons on record his form has drifted down, peaking in 2021/22.
On long-term talent our Rating reads 26, 15th of 30 of the 30 central midfielders in the Premier League. At 28 Nišić is in his prime years, and a market index of 1.7 reflects that trajectory.
Past his 2021/22 peak — the recent trend is downward, so buyers are paying for what's left, not what was.
Output in context · Lokomotiv finished 12th of 16 · a lower-table side
3.22 tackles, blocks & interceptions per 90 — moderate defensive volume, with 2 clean sheets across 14 appearances. Doing that for a lower-table side (12th of 16) is harder than the bare numbers suggest: a back line under more pressure has to defend more often and protects fewer leads, so the volume — and any clean sheets — carry real weight.
Watch points
- Game time. Only 39.2% of available minutes — needs a settled run to prove the level.

Outlook
With a Rating of 25.6, Nišić carries the 15th-highest potential of the central midfielders in the Premier League of 30 — though on just 14 appearances this season, so the standing rests on a small sample. Defensively he reads as moderate defensive volume (3.22 tackles, blocks & interceptions per 90). Experienced and reliable, but the value curve is easing (1.2× now → 0.9× projected in three years).
