Spain Thrash Georgia in Yamal’s Dream Debut
16-year-old youngster, Lamine Yamal, broke multiple records in his debut game for the Spain National Team as Spain defeated Georgia by 7-1 in the Euro Qualifiers match.
Yamal’s Debut for Spain
Even though Álvaro Morata scored a hat-trick in the game against Georgia, it was Lamine Yamal who stole the limelight from the game. Lamine Yamal played his first match for the Spanish national team and became the youngest player ever to play for La Roja.
Yamal, aged 16 years and 57 days, came on for Dani Olmo just before half-time. Already breaking the record for being the youngest player to play for Spain, later on, Yamal broke the record for being the youngest-ever goalscorer for Spain when he scored Spain’s seventh goal of the match.
