Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. has joined the long list of global superstars to join the Saudi Pro League as his next destination. The Saudi Arabian team, Al Hilal, has signed Neymar sum closed to €100M.
With the inclusion of Neymar, the Saudi Pro League has become even more competitive. Al Ittihad is the defending champion of the Saudi Arabian League. The Jeddah-based team has spent its entire history in the Saudi Pro League. They have won the AFC Champions League twice and the Saudi League 9 times, making them one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia.
The club made the transfer of Current Ballon D’or holder , Karim Benzema this season along with the other stars such as , N’Golo Kante , Fabinho, Jota etc. The team look one of the favourite to claim the league title of Saudi . They will also begin their new season tonight with the match against Al Raed.

Al Ahli is the newly promoted team in the Saudi Pro League this season. The Jeddah-based team has won three league titles and also holds the record for the 13 Kings Cup.
The newly promoted team has already started their campaign with a victory over Al Hazem in the opening day of 2023/24 Saudi Pro League, thanks to hattrick from Roberto Firmino.
