Portugal just one win away from Euro Cup 2024

Portugal led by Cristiano Ronaldo are now just one win away from securing their spot in Uefa Euro Cup 2024 , Germany. They will play Slovakia tonight in Estádio do Dragão . They can be the first team to secure spot in Euro Cup apart from host Germany if they manage to beat Slovakia tonight.

Perfect campaign for Portugal

Portugal has won 100% of their qualifying match in Euro Cup qualifiers . With six matches being played, Portugal has won all of the six matches scoring 24 goals and conceding none. Portugal are the only team alongside France to win all of their match in onoing Euro Cup qualifier so far. Portugal are top of their group consisting of Slovakia , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Luxembourg , Iceland and Liechtenstein .

Portugal and Slovakia have faced each other just five times since 1998. In all of the five occasions , Slovakia has failed to win a single match. Slovakia best performance in this fixture is when they managed to draw the game in 2005.
