PSG chairman Al Khelaifi has spoken out about rumors linking the club to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. Speaking to Sky Sport DE, Khelaifi denied any active negotiations but acknowledged Salah’s immense talent.
“It’s not true; we are not in talks,” Khelaifi stated. “He’s a fantastic and amazing player, but we’ve never considered Salah, to be honest.”
Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of this season, and no extension has been offered yet. This uncertainty has intensified speculation about his future, with PSG emerging as a potential destination in the rumor mill.
“We know every club would love to have him, but this rumor about us is simply not true,” Khelaifi clarified.
While Khelaifi dismissed the rumors, Salah’s unresolved contract situation at Liverpool continues to fuel transfer buzz across Europe. For now, the possibility of Salah joining PSG remains speculative but intriguing.
