Manchester City is struggling with its worst Premier League tally at this stage since 2009/10, securing just 27 points after 17 matches. City is now sixth in the league table, out of the Carabao Cup, and ranked 22nd in the UEFA Champions League standings.

Key absences and underperformance have significantly impacted City’s form this season. Ballon d’Or winner Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne are sidelined, leaving a void in creativity and control. Meanwhile, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden have struggled to replicate their usual standards, compounding the team’s challenges.

Pep Guardiola expressed frustration, saying, “I’ve got the solution. You know which one? Give my players back. I want my players back. You will see…” With mounting pressure, Manchester City must urgently regroup to salvage their season.
