Harry Kane Bids Farewell To Tottenham

English striker Harry Kane has officially left the English club Tottenham Hotspur and joined the German giants Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old England’s captain has agreed to terms with the Bundesliga record champions until 30 June 2027. Harry Kane will wear the number 9 shirt for the Bavarians.

Harry Kane joined the Tottenham Hotspur academy in 2004. Before signing his professional contract in July 2010, he represented the club at all junior levels up to U18. He made his senior debut for Tottenham Hotspur in 2011.

Harry Kane played 435 competitive games for Spurs. Before leaving for Bayern, he scored 280 goals, making him the highest scorer in the history of the club. Out of 280 goals, Harry Kane scored 213 goals in the English Premier League. He is the second top scorer in Premier League history, only behind the legendary Alan Shearer. Kane has won the Premier League Golden Boot on three occasions: 2016, 2017, and 2021.

Despite scoring loads of goals for Tottenham, England’s most prolific goal scorer has never had the privilege to lift the trophy with the club. His best finish in the Premier League came in 2016/17 when Tottenham finished second, six points behind the then-champion, Chelsea FC. He also played in one UEFA Champions League Final in 2018/19 in a losing cause.
